Colony Tide
★★★★☆ 4.2
Colony Tide drops you on a shifting coastline where high tide reshapes your buildable land twice a day. Planning around that is the whole game, and it makes even a basic dock decision feel tense.
You manage food, morale and shelter with a small crew, and the systems talk to each other nicely — a bad harvest ripples into unhappy settlers and slower work. It's readable without being simple.
The UI could be smoother on phones, and I occasionally lost track of a task list. But the core sim is smart and I lost a whole evening to 'one more day'.
What we liked
- Tide mechanic keeps you replanning
- Interconnected survival systems
- Great 'one more turn' pull
