Emberkin Saga
★★★★☆ 4.3
Emberkin Saga leans into story more than most mobile RPGs. Your party of four bickers, changes its mind, and reacts to your choices, and the writing carries the slower stretches between fights.
Combat is turn-based with a positioning twist — where you stand on the grid affects your abilities. It rewards planning, and boss fights had me rearranging my party more than once. Progression is generous without feeling automatic.
The one downside is the menu-heavy inventory, which gets crowded late game. Still, if you want an RPG to sink into over a couple of weeks, this holds up.
What we liked
- Character writing that actually lands
- Grid positioning adds depth to battles
- Fair progression, no grinding walls
